Publication of a student research project at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology at the University of Graz. “Draw the Lendplatz as you see it!” was the request made to 180 residents of Graz as part of the course “Project Mapping Space”. Based on the mental maps drawn from their heads in a collective research process and the conversations triggered by them, the students wrote thematic essays as well as visual reappraisals of the material. Together they form a diverse snapshot of an urban space in transformation.
